The series can reach ns-level accuracy and satisfy the rigorous time synchronisation requirements in real-time applications thanks to its support for IEEE 1588v2 PTP and SyncE. Different ring protocols provide the network with the potential to heal itself. Even with 250 devices in full load, the ITU-T G.8032 ERPS Ring can restore the network in 25 milliseconds. Additionally, the DIN rail-mountable housing, slim and flat design, and IP30 metal enclosure of this switch series facilitate easy deployment in challenging locations.
